Napoleon Bonaparte - "Glory is fleeting, but obscurity is forever."

~~~
KANYE IS ALREADY OUT PERFORMING... AND HERE'S HIM TRYING TO DO 'HEY MAMA'. WOW, I WOULDN'T EVEN THINK OF DOING THAT SONG FOR A FEW MONTHS IF I WERE HIM. HE'S KINDA BRAVE. PEEP THIS MOMENT:
and Illseed of www.allhiphop.com is saying: "This is crazy, but rumor has it somebody is already planning a movie about Dr. Jan Adams, the man accused of messing up Kanye West’s mother. I don’t think Denzel would do it, but somebody is trying to pitch it to him."
Rap is outta control and Hollywood is insane.
SAIGON SPEAKS ON HIS MYSPACE BLOG (YES, IT'S MOSTLY AMERICANS THAT STILL USE MYSPACE, LOL):
"Well it looks like Ive been in the Hip Hop internet news alot for the past 3 days or so, atleast its bubbling under the surface..So before your'e reading something on AllHipHop.com rumors section or getting something from one of these irresponsible journalist or something youre gonna get it here straight from the horses mouth.....Okay..Gotta Love the Net.....
MY DRUNK SHADE 45 INTERVIEW...
I was soooo drunk when I did this interview I didnt even remember doing it, this interview was done at 8 PM and I was 4 A.M drunk.. I have a very LOW tolerance for white liquor. Well there is a part where I said I would slap Nelly because he doesn't make positive songs...I actually like Nelly as a person and as an artist ...I would never attempt to cause harm to a person who didnt try to harm me first in some sort of way, especially a person I respect and I respect Nelly...That was solely the Tanqueray speaking...I definitely would like to apologize to that man, Keep up the good work bruh, even though I would like to hear him and alot of these other MEGA superstars use their influence more to help our black kids, I wish him the best...Moving right along..In this same interview I supposedly told Melissa Ford I would punch her in the face, hahaha, after review I found it was NOT Melissa Ford, but a writer who had already interviewed me about the Mobb Deep incident and agreed with me about the stance I took, but gets the chance to interview me on the radio and changes her whole story to try to play me to make people laugh...I would NEVER hit a girl, especially Melissa Ford, there is only one way I would hit Melissa Ford...But Im really not the one to be the butt of ones jokes.
MR.JOE BUDDEN
It has been bought to my attention that Joe Budden used my name in a disrespectful way in one of his punchlines on B.E.T., I understand he's not getting the attention he feels he deserves but to try to use me to get it is a BAD MOVE on his part..I guess he's trying to bait me into a rap battle like he's known for doing..I have never had a lyrical rap beef because its not my thing. I beef a little differently. I know I just said I woudnt harm a person who didnt try to harm me but I feel he's trying to harm my credibilty soooo..If I let him get away with that, EVERYONE will be dissing me in there freestyles, so again, Im gonna say sorry to Nelly and tell Joe Budden that when I see him, Im going to slap EARTH, WIND and FIRE out of HIM instead. REAL TALK..I will make an example out of him, watch.. I want him to know we have a problem, because when I see him he's all smiles and pounds, is he that desperate for attention?Why me? Im not even hot like that yet. Maybe he's mad I have a song with the same guy who dropped him, or that Ransom exposed his sexuality....I use to live in Chilltown Jersey city, I dont know if he's gay but I know he WAS a RnB singer...And personally, I will let him be my first lyrical victim if that's what he wants, but only after I beat him up. Soo he can go making his songs and get his internet soldiers behind him, but until I get him, Im quiet.. realistically speaking, he's only okay at best...and him without a Just Blaze beat is like Popeye without spinach...whadduup Just..
SPEAKING OF JUST BLAZE
Me and Just are finally turning in the album to Atlantic this week, we never really had a date because the label usually gets the album before they do all that, Were trying to release it on Just B-Day, I said TRYING, there is red tape ya know, And if you dont know Just B-Day, do ya homework and find out......The album in a word is Phenomenal.........Real talk...
THE MORAL OF THE STORY
The Moral Of the Story is out now and selling fast so go to E Bay and get it, Its the only place you can get the Official one with the bonus MUSIC....hahahaha, Its only on E BAY so youll get it within 2 days 3 the most......Its crazy. The Moral also has a Novel that comes with it, its called Honor Amongst Thieves so google that or go to AbandonedNation.com and pick that up
SAIGON AND TRU LIFE TO MAKE GROUP ALBUM
I know alot of yall are saying we havent even dropped albums so who even would care, but what we do know is we both have classic albums recorded..hahahah We have forseight, we have the streets... We have, Jay Z, Snoop Dogg, Just Blaze, Dead Prez, Neo the Matrix, DJ Premier, Kanye West, Gee Roberson, Al Branch, Jo Jo Capone and a slew of other people who love and support us, weve been friends before rap so its onlly right we do this, Its bigger than a mixtape, were starting a SUPER crew...Ghetto Inmates and Abandoned Nation together is an uncotrollable force in the streets of NY...These other crews are gonna be SICK, and were gonna teach these black babies...The name of the crew will be unleashed soon...Stay on the lookout for that....
Thanks for whoever read all this ....This is cool, who needs to do interviews anymore, yall can get it straight from the source...Send questions here......hahaha"
The Juice Crew movie is coming out!
The story of legendary Hip-Hop collective The Juice Crew is coming to the big screen in a new movie titled The Vapors.
The Vapors will be directed by Furqaan Clover, who also recently shot Queen of Media, which tells the story of radio personality Wendy Williams.
Actress Keke Palmer (Akeelah and the Bee, Barbershop 2: Back in Business) has been attached to the project to play the role of rapper Roxanne Shante, while actor Clifton Powell (Friday After Next, Norbit) has been cast as influential DJ Mr. Magic.
The Vapors is set against the backdrop of New York City’s Queensbridge Housing Projects, where The Juice crew was based.
The character driven story is inspired by the true life events of DJ Marley Marl, Biz Markie, Big Daddy Kane and Roxanne Shante and chronicles the group’s rise to fame during Hip-Hop’s golden age.
The legendary collective was headed up by Marley Marl and featured legendary rappers like MC Shan, Big Daddy, Kane, Craig G., Biz Markie, Kool G. Rap and DJ Polo, Roxanne Shante, Masta Ace, TJ Swan, Cool V and Tragedy.
Juice crew members Roxanne Shante and Biz Markie released seminal records on the Philadelphia-based Hip-Hop label Pop Art in 1984, before entering into rap history when Juice Crew member MC Shan released the classic single "The Bridge" in 1986.
The single sparked "The Bridge Wars" between MC Shan and the Juice crew and Bronx rapper KRS-One and his Boogie Down Productions, one of the most legendary feuds in Hip-Hop history.
The Vapors is scheduled to start filming in January of 2008.
This should explain why the New York Knicks suck shit, and what should be done about it. I can't believe the fuckory that Isaiah started doing... he was better off in Toronto, but I think we're better off without him now!:
By Gerald Narciso
You know what they say, if you can make it in New York, you can make it anywhere. Except in Isaiah Thomas’ case.
While he has technically not “made it,” he still has a job. And with everything he has done (and not done) as president and coach of the New York Knicks, it is hard to think of one professional sports franchise in the world where he would have still been employed at after what he’s pulled.
Three straight losing seasons couldn’t get him fired. Trading for Steve Francis and giving Jerome James $30 million couldn’t get him fired. Not even being found guilty of sexually harassing a co-worker could get him fired. But the wacky and dramatic events of the last week might have been the beginning of the end of Isaiah’s invincibility and yes, even his J-O-B.
For those of you out of the loop, let’s rewind to last Tuesday.
After Stephon Marbury and Thomas had a falling out on the team plane, Starbury decided he would hop the next flight to JFK – abandoning his team before they took a beating from the Suns. When Marbury rejoined the Knicks the next night in L.A., the team had reportedly voted to bench him the entire game.
Isaiah all but ignored his team’s wishes. Although he didn’t start Marbury, he did play him for 34 minutes in a loss to the Clippers. This action may have broken the one thing that gave the Knicks hope coming into the season – the strong bond between the players and Isaiah.
Despite all the criticism of Thomas’ roster – overpaid, selfish players whose games can’t mesh with each other – Isaiah had earned their trust and they played their hearts out for him. All last season they had that “us against the world” mentality. When they played together and unselfishly, they could beat just about anyone in the league. Even when Thomas was in the middle of the sexual harassment trial, all the Knicks players had Isaiah’s back as well as Stephon’s. But when Stephon went AWOL and Isaiah failed as a leader to punish him, it fueled speculation that Isaiah succumbed to Marbury’s alleged blackmail threat.
It shouldn’t come as much surprise that this didn’t sit well with the rest of the team. Although most have been quiet publicly, several of the team’s best writers (who have resembled more of TMZ writers lately) have reported that the team is furious at Steph and Isaiah. So…well…adios team trust. And even owner James Dolan, who has no room to judge anybody, has reached the end of the rope with Isaiah.
The Knicks’ performance in this two-week-old season has proven that an immediate change is needed. There are no more excuses. People gave Thomas the benefit of the doubt the last few years because he was trying to fix the mess that he inherited from the Scott Layden era. Last year, he had injuries to key players like Jamal Crawford, David Lee and Quentin Richardson down the stretch to blame for their playoff shortcomings.
But this year, nobody is injured. Every player 1 through 15 are Isaiah’s pickings, not Layden’s leftovers. Sure, he found great talent in the draft like Lee, Renaldo Balkman, Mardy Collins and Nate Robinson - but where do the Knicks sit now? They are a pathetic (even by Knicks standards) 2-7 as of Sunday.
It is time for the Knicks to close this ugly chapter. So James Dolan has to finally do what the Garden faithful have been chanting nearly every game since the 2004-05 season… “Fire Isaiah!”
The Queens, NYC Fat Cat Documentary. Do the knowledge:
Vaguely interesting. A "What If?" hip hop song that doesn't suck shit:
...
and I'm going to end on this note today: SOCIETY IS INSANE!
BEIJING (Reuters) - China has banned fire department officials from receiving sexual favors as bribes from companies seeking their business, local media reported on Friday.
Fire department officials were also banned from letting their spouses and children run fire-fighting companies and market fire-fighting products, part of an anti-corruption drive outlined in a notice posted on the Public Security ministry Web site.
Apart from taking cash and "other valuables," the order forbade officials from receiving "cheap or free house renovations," "having children entered into schools" and "receiving sexual services" provided by third parties.
"We must remind ourselves that we cannot ignore the problems regarding the opportunism of a minority of officials when enforcing the law," the notice said.
A commentary carried by the official Xinhua news agency on Friday praised the order -- officially abbreviated as the "Four Strictly Forbiddens" -- as timely.
"For every 10 corrupt officials, nine are involved in illicit sex. This old tune has already been proved by statistics from disciplinary organs many times," Xinhua said.
"The people believe that the trade of authority for sex is still comparatively serious," the commentary said.
